Just Thoughts....Maybe

Just maybe, this is something real

And just maybe, all these things we feel

Will come around to bless us both

With splendid, joyful years of growth.

The words you send say something more

Than any lover spoke before

Of magic times and joyful deeds

And urges me on to meet your needs.

I cannot help but face the fact

That I’m so tempted to try to act

As if I think you won’t see my faults

Yet hope the good outweighs them all.

I already know that you can be

More than I’d ever dreamed I’d see.

In this lifetime I’ve been given

A little piece of my own Heaven.

I’ve prayed at night and in the day

That God would let you come my way

And in the choices that He gives

Will also help me learn to live

Inside our heart, and mind and soul,

A cradle for our dreams to hold

And in the rocking that we do...

Our dreams we find, and comfort, too.
