Practically Perfect
Her hem line was just right
At the bend of her knee
Her stockings wore the curving
Shape of high heeled calf underneath
Hair the color of autumn wheat
Shimmered and waved in the breeze
While sparkled her wedding ring
And other jewels of filigree
Island red bright lipstick
Graced lips that smiled true
And her bedroom eyes twinkled
With the sunny depth of sea green blue
She was his dream girl on paper
On film she performed flawlessly
In his imagination she was perfection
In his heart and home and bed she was me.
