Love’s Bride

 

oh, my love

thou art the

sunrise

that wakes me

in the morn,

my hope

that follows

the arc

of the sun

wherein

my hopes

are born

 

and when

that gently

bowing sun

greets

the moon

at eventide,

sweet peaceful

rests within

my breast

so glad

I am to be

love’s bride
