The World is my Oyster????
I’m a kid in a candy store looking around.
There’s so much I’m interested in and yet nothing I’ve found
can make me settle on just one sweet treat.
Life has always been a tease for me.
My senses absorb so many things all day.
There are music, poetry, jewelry, dinner and love to be made.
Such decisions about so many delights to choose
I sometimes feel nothing is all I can lose.
Create, restore, bake, dispense hugs and more
All the possibilities before me, I do so love and hate to adore!
Am I a starving young waif, or a mystical miss?
The world is my oyster. I hunger for this!
No shade is bad. No note is too wrong.
No color looks right and my chords hold too short or too long.
Dinner is burnt. The silver just snapped as I dapped.
The garnet I chose just rolled to the floor with a tap.
Oh, forget it. It’s exhausting, just trying to be me.
I’m forever chasing a note or a verb that could actually be
The perfection I crave in the gem of my life.
Oh, thank goodness I can rest and just be a wife.

Lady Vivian
There once was a woman, a wife,
Who put up with a lot of strife.
But she kept her smile,
Knowing all the while,
What it means to enjoy one's life.
Love and best wishes,

I liked your scream into the wilds of your world here . . .
