The Black Veil

I have tried
not to think
about you
but
my thoughts wander
back to yesterday.

When you
made me smile
effortlessly
by your presences
in my life.

I remember
everything about you
your smile
your laugh
even your funny ways
of being just you.

For a moment
I give in
and feel
the depths
of my love
for you
until I can bear
no more.

Taking a deep breath
I push
the feelings back
burying them
to the graveyard of yesterday
when I wore
the colors of love.

Beautifully done...I personally do not believe love dies so easily for if it did it would be considered too close to the edge of fragile thin ice to bear such a weight. True love surfaces in tested time.

Hi Tracey.
Like thoughts appearing from the past,
In memories torment they seek to outlast,
Will those recollections ever fade away,
Or haunt our being each and every day.

Why is it that so many people write about me on this board. LOL
Yes love dies but it keeps coming back like that sick little pink bunny and sometimes i want to rip the ears off that drum beating pest. So love Just leave me alone and let me bathe in soapy misery. Calgon take me away.
Hey Tracey want to share a bath of drowned love.
