first
there is a silence
aching in my stomach
resting in the pit of my stomach
it wants to be heard
it tries
it eases up
it pulls itself up
and gets tangled in my heart

no,no,no i don't want to hurt nobody
no,no,no i ain't tryin to cause
no trouble
no,no,no i ain't no sassy,loud mouth
bitch ~~like you've seen on t.v.

i just want to be heard
i just want to be known
i just want to be

second
there is a silence
just aching in my heart
it just wants to speak freely
it just wants to be felt
it tries
it pulls it self up to the mind
and it gets tangled in red tape

no,no,no i don't want to get hurt
no,no,no i ain't tryin to cause no
trouble
no,no,no i ain't tryin to be sassy, loud,or a bitch ~~like the ones you've seen on t.v.

i just want to be heard by you
i just want to be touched by you
i just want to be ~~with you

third
there is a silence
that just is aching
busting out of my eyes
and running out of my nose
done spilled out all in side of my stomach oozing out my ears cause it done blown my mind

naw baby i ain't trying to cause no trouble
naw sweety i ain't trying to bring no
body no kinda pain

but i am stuck to a brick wall
and the sand is climbing high
stealing my air
and everybody knows/but don't know
why i am there.....

if i would have screamed
maybe you would have heard me
if i would have screamed
maybe then you would have seen me
if i would have scream
just maybe you would have believed
that you had me living
with a monster

but i wasn't tryin to cause nobody
no trouble
i was trying to be
i am trying to be
words run through me
and i releash them through my hands
and pretend it's make believe
cause i can see the seas crashing
and i can see the trees talking
and i can feel the winds laughing
and i'm afriad if i scream
she won't reveal herself to me
so

fourth
i shake off the shakes
and cry
i run cross the lake
in my backyard
i pop the locks on the wall
and fall
i break the glass
and stall
i swallow deep and long
silence
then i take my fingers tracing
plans in the sand
and make these big old sand castles

Mitzi,

Super! A beautifully penned write...reminds me of when I used to build sand castles - build one, the waves come in and slowly wash it away, and then I would build another...life's alot like that...

Mitzi, those big old sand castles are a thousand times better as outlet than those nasty sputterings the characters on TV get away with...better yet: your words stream across the screen with the power of a wild river - meekness forgotten.

Great message and candor!
