Bright Red SunSounds

creek hollering

voice thought drained by Katrina

bright Red SunSounds

valley rooted from words tossed

for no good reason cept Peace

and we tossing words

cut and angered

Westerns cut down and off and out

cause of deeds no doubt lost in heartache

confusion

Bright Bright Red Sun Sounds

flowing (in)human(e)

we swallow it down

it is in the air

we can't escape it

it is in the air it is on the mind

and we consume it

kill-die-kill-die-die-die-die

but no one wants to be alone

no time for roots means......no strength for wings

Bright Red SunSounds

pray-teach-pull-grab-pray

struggle to breathe through this mess

pick up the dead and teach!

too late our love and ignorance than bred hate

wind blow ease minds

water flow ease minds

fire warm ease minds

earth grow please don't die

we gon learn

honor roots and fly

we gon learn honor roots and fly

you have this gift of putting so much into your work...emotion, pain, frustration, anger, love hope...this work of yours is both provocative and evocative. In a word, it is outstanding.

Stuff others YOU ARE YOU AND REMAIN YOU.... You're poetry as with N's makes me see another kind-unkind america- NO MLK where would anerica be, like S/A was, I feel from our news we are breaking away from the US, as we did with south africa, ever since we saw the true america in the New O' and how it is today when us and australia send in secret news crews... Injustice is our biggest hate....

You have a gift in your writing, of course, but also in that your soul shines right, straight through to the reader's ears. Like a strong whisper on paper.

Your work is always stunning Mitzi
It's all ways sad the innocent do the real suffering..
Yes we will fly alright, from the blast...
