I reached for you but you were not there
You had vanished
And a great despair filled My soul.
I cried for you
You could not see
The bitter tears of agony
Upon my cheeks.
I ran, searched, stumbled, fell
I cursed, screamed I was in hell.
Then I awoke
Found you near
Held you close
And the fear
Passed away.
