When pavers last in the dooryard loom'd

The pile was truly daunting,

But a bad poet quickly showed us how 

Our intentions were not wanting.

His strength & inborn cunning revealed

His sinews aflame with lactic acid,

He couldn’t have been much more inspiring,

His demeanor much more than placid!

Quite soon the job was truly done,

Each weighty paver safely moved,

And thanks to one good ‘bad poet’s’ work

Our yard has beauteous proved!

So, criticize not, ye men of words,

The labors large and small,

Of men like Sev (and his buddy Owl)

When it comes to wherewithal!

When pavers last in the dooryard loom'd

The pile was truly tall,

But a bad poet quickly showed his grit

And soon t’was nought at all!
