To be Human

To be human
Is to let life be
Open up the heart
Touch another soul
Soothe a broken spirit
Comfort the helpless mind

To be human
Is to let love be
Open up the shell
Touch another hand
Soothe a broken heart
Care for the friendship light

To be human
Is to let joy be
Open up the box
Touch another life
Soothe a broken promise
Show the way to the discouraged

To be human
Is to let sadness be
Open up the teary eye
Touch another neighbor
Soothe a broken household
Mend the pieces of a falling home

To be human
Is to let hope be
Open the fearful heart
Touch another prayer
Soothe a broken dream
Make life worth living today

...and you have painted a beautiful visual mountain to climb...from the bottom right of each verse...to the top line of each verse...which is...To be human. We must take the steps...and give worth to the wise words you have penned Anita.
