I searched and searched for hours
to find a Christmas card for you .
I read each verse with its message
and looked at the picture too .
The glitter covered cards where nice ,
they sparkled a rainbows hue ,
The expensive cards when opened,
would play jingle bells for you .
The where pictures of snowmen with scarf's ,
with clay-pipes if you please ,
Pictures of Santa with his reindeers ,
others with snow on trees .
When I read each card I found,
that the same words would reappear ,
They all said ,
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year .
I was in a dilemma ,
trying to pick a card for you .
Then I almost heard Baby Jesus say
any card will do .
When love is remembering someone ,
its really not that hard .
Its just because I care for you ...
that I’m sending you this card
