God had pre-destined the time and the place .
His will had to be done and his only son Jesus had come to fulfil the destiny .

No one else but Jesus could have carried out this mission .
God knows how hard it was . .
God knew because that’s the way he planned it to be .


A long time ago Judas had betrayed Jesus .
A long time ago Jesus was arrested in the garden at Gethsemane .

A long time ago a criminal found favour with the people .
A long time ago God found favour with Jesus on Calvary .

Jesus had been betrayed and beaten .
Jesus was accused and abused .
Jesus refused them no malice .
Stripped and whipped and mocked was he .

I thought what if it had been different .
What if Pilate had agreed with his wife .
But all these what if’s are not’s and that’s reality .

If only they’d have said ,
Set Jesus free ,
Let him be ,
Thenit would have been Barabas that would have died on the cross at Calvary

It seems there is no justice in this world if guilty men can walk away free.
But Gods ways are not our ways and that’s the mystery .

We cannot understand or hope to comprehend Gods ways .
But If we can just accept the truth maybe then we might begin to see .
