Talent is something you can’t hold in your hand,
You can run like the wind as fast as you can,
Or fly like an eagle and then win hands down ,
It can lift you up with your feet off ground .
It can push you along where some never go
If you’re good and honest your talent will grow .
To be strong willed and open to give and take
Quiet as a mouse and slippery as a snake .
If talent has its way there’s no need to plan.
Brave as a lion yet as gentle as a lamb .
With talented people we can often smile ,
they entertain us in magnificent style .
All their gifts are worthy of a mention here ,
In sport , in music , in their chosen career .
With education , religion , in the arts ,
all those talented people are winning hearts .
too hard to ignore , so we need to employ ,
a talent is something we can all enjoy .
