They must accept their handicap
and show the world they can .


do the normal things each day
even if they cannot stand .



Some cannot hold a pen but they can write and paint ok ,


using their feet or mouth ,
their special talent finds a way .



They must adjust to things they have
and not to things they've lost ,


They always count their blessings
but they never pay the cost .



Their feats are superhuman yet just normal things to them .


Like the man who signs his name
with a foot that holds his pen .

they have common ground ,


to make the world see life through the medium they have found .
