We are all he cares for but we never say hello .

Mass is on once a week but not many people go .

Isn't God worth it ,
or is it that he doesn't fit ,
like a song no one can sing ,
or its too long to sit for an hour .

If only they knew what joy it can bring

If only they knew how you gave everything .

How easy we forget , you gave your life for our sake .

If we think we can push you away that's a mistake .

Its easy for some to keep you on the outside there with no regret because we don't understand or care .

Some never hear you call .
Some never see you at all .
Sometimes it easy to say our backs against the wall.

How easy we forget .
Some hide their prayers so well like a bell without a ring and its another one of those songs no one can sing .

It doesn't rock-n-roll or have any soul in it .

It's a hat placed on the head that doesn't want to sit .

It's a relationship some have never found you know but dear Lord ,
never once did you ever leave or go .

But do they know or care ?
Oh no .

Their bird it has flown .

Better to have loved they say than never to have known somebody who has loved so much that he had died for you .

How easy we forget the suffering you went through .

Grant me the ability to always say hello at least once a week to the best friend I'll ever know .
