Some have committed no crime .They are Prisoners of time .
The prisoners of time
locked up in a cell ,
sometimes you know
it’s a living hell no place to hide
locked up inside
this hard old place
see it on their face Some are very young ,
some are very old ,
Some of their Stories
have never been told .
Some they don’t belong
and some they did no wrong
some wait for the day
until justice comes their way .
They’re prisoners of time
locked up everyday .
No one ever hear’s
when there nothing left to say ,
there’s no way to get out
let me tell you about
what it’s like on the inside ,
where all but life has died .
Is anybody there ?
Does anybody care ?
Some days they can’t find
a thing called peace of mind ,
some things they can’t see ,
because they are not free .
The prisoners of time
who've committed no crime ,
maybe one of the few ,
who are innocent and true ,
suffering the shame
again and again ,
for doing no wrong
and their sentence goes on
there’s no more to find
at the end of the line .
Some roads they can’t walk .
Some times they can’t talk .
Some walls they can’t climb.
They’re prisoners of time .
