Thoughts

Thoughts of love and thoughts of peace ,
thoughts of you just never cease .
Thoughts of then and thoughts of now ,
thoughts of when , where , why and how .


Where do thoughts come from , if they’re not part of you,
once you can see that well you’ll know what to do ,
take control of the thoughts that surround you every day
and if they don’t belong with you then just sent them on their way


Hold on to that thought and never let it go ,
everything gets caught up in emotions you know ,
like the waves on the ocean , on tides high and low ,
there is a peaceful place where thoughts come and go.


Thoughts I hear and thoughts that I see ,
thoughts transcending down on me .
thoughts that run , silent and deep ,
some thoughts they pass, others I’ll keep
