The 24 elders are mentioned in the book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible. They are described as seated around the throne of God, wearing crowns and dressed in white, and they are said to represent the people of God who have been victorious over the world and its evils. Their story is closely tied to the theme of salvation in the Bible, as they represent those who have been saved by Jesus Christ and are now seated with him in heavenly places. In Revelation 4:4, they are described as singing a hymn of praise to God, saying: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." They sing a hymn of praise to God on high, Thanking him for the gift of salvation, For through his love and grace, they were set free, And now they dwell in his divine creation. The elders stand as witness to his might, A beacon of hope for all who seek his face. They remind us of the victory in sight, The promise of eternal life and grace. So let us join the elders in their song, Praising God for all the gifts he's given. May our hearts be filled with love and joy, And may we sing his praises all our days, forgiven.
