let’s just say
in the middle of this timely letter
say one thing
about friends and
why you left
that sunny day
park swing still
moving the pond
glittering the bright
sun mostly tightly yellow
with mustard flowers blooming so
what if no one
but me
noticed
you were still
way gone
back marching
through parking lots
pick-up trucks scooting nearby
looking for empty spots
before my eyes
you loved
me so you said
and then
and then
bitter dandelion taste
tongues burning
with hate
cactus plants flinging
darts.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
