kiss your lips with
my popcorn cheese mouth,
each taste liquid desire
on two levels,
each kernel like first base,
each cheesy lump
a surrogate for second,
and third is as easy
as a slide trombone
in coca-cola,
sweet, bubbly
with sounds of escape,
my home run
coming later,
like a forgotten
puffed crunch,
surprising yet
filling you up.
