twisted
minds foggy with cold,
wind currents approach
Nascar speeds and dizziness
commences outside tents
flopped by temperatures
knifing exposed skin;
each miniature tent-thread
torn asunder
spelling doom;
outside
ice crystals form on eyelids,
exposure just split-seconds
away from comprehension;
the beauty of reds, greens,
sky-pinks glow and glint,
electrical energy
speeding through
the universe,
but latching onto
cold mountains
terrifies explorers
bent-nasty
in their bedrolls,
keeping warm.
GAD i love your imagery, your words--the auroras come alive in your write! BRAVO! i saw them last night (here in texas!). if it's not cloudy outside, and there's another magnetic storm (good chance), i'm going skywatching again tonight :)
