Twink

momentary intuition a flash
a beam a rat-tat zinger
poised to explode.

plink of olive in a dry light
beer someone sipping
but admiring a blink
a toast to the stage lights.

gulping quickly but not
quickly enough a sad case
of infatuation bloating and big
like a ribbon through
chocolate.

moment to moment a dagger
clinks on cellophane its moisture
splashing tingles
up someone’s spine.

but behold the phantom
sluiced with melted marshmallows
licking drops off
concubines.
