Pharmacy Back Room

sometimes I’d go there after deliveries slowed
and makeshift jobs taunted anger.
sometimes I’d hear the whispers
covered by silence, just one
word or two, an adjustment made,
the couple listening before
building their excitement again.
sometimes I’d be jealous
and tap the door in my
fantasy but status excluded me
and the thin white skirt
would be raised to exposure
by fingers too neatly trimmed
by hands too softly probing.
sometimes in frustration I’d sneak
away waiting for their emergence,
watching them holding hands,
my girl going back to the cash register,
he back to counting pills.

Are you a pharmacist?

Please tell the people who makes "CasterOil" to "Create" a casterOil Pill.

My grandma and mom believed in a dose once every three months with the belt in her hand...swallow it or get it even on the arm...to keep the body in good working order!!

Grrrrrr but since I turned out to be my own boss and no one to force me to drink it....I need that lubrication...but grrrrrrrr can't get it down without a bad sickness (vomit) sorry had to mention this!!

Now this is beautifully written, though sad. I hope its fiction, Larry.

Interesting, as always Larry. You always make the reader feel as if they have been there.
