Ogling Who?

means of travel figured
at midnight, ready for her ride
and dressing herself in black
leotards, a strong-legged presence,
with upper body nude for effect.

her stead awaited, propped
against the porch wall,
the pogo-stickian reality
awaiting milady, who (shoeless,
a fine line of sweat
on her upper lip)
was ready to bounce.

cars on both sides,
no deterrence there,
she followed
yellow-line’s straight-narrow path,
and ogled those
who turned
shocked eyes to ogle
her.

beauty and darkness,
bounces and breasts,
a fit encounter for trendy
late-night-walkers,
lifting brews and pizzas
to tongues licking
gasps.

Well I admit to looking a fine looking man and know that I have a hubby at home but sometimes it helps to have some eye candy too.

Larry,

I think the oglee enjoyed it as much as the ogler...and so did I, ogling your fantastic, descriptive words--thank you! You've made me a voyeauer! (spelling??) That's alright, I love the way you write. One just doesn't READ your poetry, they LIVE it--BRAVO!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
