oops! the table just moved,
jiggling my arm, and the pen
scratched across white paper,
a jagged image leftover
from 1972 when the green Torino
lost its power to amuse, a snow drift
bopped its front side, interrupting the “Baby I’m a love you” tooting so romantically from radio station WJR, "Night Flight"
a constant vibe
back then, but now the table’s movement episode caused
Torino art to appear, and framed it
now sits above the piano
waiting for Chopin's visit
(he might need a ride).
