Enter Fear The day to day is handled, must Be handled by forgetting. Those long blossoming trails behind us, A perfume of fear not quite Catching up, not quite a moment Defined. We can outrun certain smells, forget Certain moments, like Crossing in front of buses Their exhaust a death plume. Not so for our neighbors who Smoke outside, loosing Acid fumes into The spring Breeze. We catch this odor on our porches, inhaling death as We speak to grandkids Eating hot-dogs after croquet.
