after that springtime shower
you stepped inside and
held me tight,
you did
that little smiley,
eye-contact thing,
and led me toward the couch,
sat me on the floor and
took off my shirt
slowly.
your hands touched my neck
lightly,
then used a towel to dry me;
I said it was my turn, and sat
you in my lap, drying your
hair as your eyes looked
into mine.
