The Father Who Imagined Children No, not to be, never, The hallway full of running feet, The call of father Not heard. Through lonely moments Of despair Just the dream In tatters. The birthday songs not Sung, the holiday gifts Unopened, within the heart The reaching rendered Unsatisfied, all in broken pieces.
