Offered to others.
Each memory traces
Thoughts for mirror’s
Image, the response
To each mistake.
Within each governs
Recollection, using
Twisted censure
On deeds misfired.
The smile we see
Becomes robotic
For the mirror
Checks results,
Not hopes or dreams.
No one can reply
To ignorance, no one
Can shift the blame.
The mirror holds the image
And the judges assess
The game.
