how she escaped is the question,
but the birthday party was busting
balloons and the ice
cream got smeared on Mommy,
and most adults were
simply watching the big
thunderheads rise in the west,
when a scream
woke us all and
parents scooted to windows
spotting little Danielle parading
in the rain, her birthday suit
just brand new at two,
but her little nude
body was cavorting in puddles
as lightning photographed
the sky.
Awwwwww..such a delightful feel to this....something I am sure I did at a MUCH younger age..and way too far back to recollect....but I know the feeling was good!!
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.

Gotta love it!!

I love the imagery you use: that last line is classic! God enjoyed the show, too, eh? Well done!
