The Dance of the Wind
The rains gallop gallantly
The pounding on the roof
Is like a parade in the mud
Of a thousand Trojan horses.
Interposed between violent storms
And the quietness in the room,
Two young lovers entwine
Like petals folded, and then
Entwined into a lotus bud----
In the sacred dance of the wind.
Time drifts away upon the distant hills
Between storms moving in serenade;
Bolt of lightning strikes the hearts
With a fire of love and passion;
Watching the two---
In deep dream,
Through drifting clouds.
