In the moonlight I betook,
at the stars did gaze and look
The sky was crashing overhead,
rain with thunder the earth shook!
Oh sky distilling water so pure,
cascading trillions drops to earth,
replenishing, diminishing disease,
a ground crying resplendent rebirth!
Crocuses compelling beauty reveals,
tulips allure and dawn the day.
The sun peers over the horizons,
darkness losing battle clears the way.
Songbirds accompany the breeze,
a welcome refresher to the trees.
Anon these reflections will adhere,
boast of today yet yesterday.
