God is my friend because he loves me.
He causes birds to sing each morning,
outside my window.
Robert is my friend because we,
play together after school.
We play t-ball, basketball, football.
Sally with the golden hair rides,
the school bus with me lots of times.
Boy when Sally smiles at me,
I squirm and my heart melts like butter!
She is my friend also and what is white?
Most kids in school I think,
like me and I like them.
And the ones I know best are my friend!
The kids that aren't my friends.
I must get to know them better!
Somehow God must be friends to us all.
Because he created us and blew,
the breath of life into our bodies!
The world is my friend because,
thee are endless things yet to do in it?
IF WE ALL COULD 'SEE' THE WORLD AS FRIENDS...MY GOD! THERE WOULD BE NO MORE PROBLEMS, LOVE WOULD FLOW AND OUR DAYS WOULD BE SPENT IN BETTER UNDERSTANDING THOSE WE DON'T KNOW. FOR THOSE NEAR AND FAR THIS IS A GREAT POEM...A WONDERFUL DREAM THAT WE CAN ONLY PRAY COULD BECOME A REALITY. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
You have pointed out the innocence and curiosity of young people that is destroyed by older people who instill thought of what is the difference between black and white. When humans are actually all the same, just have different skin color and cultures caused primarily by where they come from.
In "A Touch of Your Presence" are words that would inspire, encourage and strengthen one's soul when faced with challenges and difficulties and to know the awesomeness of God's power.
