If you try hard enough.
You will stand up on your Ice skates,
After falling countless number of times!
I saw the White pure snow the other day,
White glistening it blew me away!
Snow doesn't have to be deep to bring joy,
it takes me back when I was a boy.
Teaching myself to ice skate,
oh how I loved my hand me down skates,
from the Goodwill organization.
Ice ponds were built on most Elementary,
Schools in Detroit, Michigan,
at least when I was a kid 70 yrs ago!
I felled on my backside many times,
I mean hundreds of times perhaps more.
Before I could stand up & skate!
Believe me I felled on my but many times,
When I think about those times I laugh,
but I still can feel the ouch!

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
