Angels beckon me home
With streets lined with gold
Harps lull me to sleep
Before my soul doth leap
Light blinds the lame
And makes everyone the same
Spirits soar above
Proclaim God’s love
To all who choose to believe
Instead of being deceived
Gabriel blows his horn
For the tired and forlorn
Heaven knows no bounds
Where beauty and love surrounds
Those who once were lame
And once declared insane
Now sit at his throne
Partake but never own
Trumpets prepare the way
For where we wish to stay
Within his glory and grace
We dare to see his face
Light that blinds and heals
Another live saved and sealed

A wishful poem with beautiful, suggestive thoughts. Well-written and well-rhymed.
