When it comes to the rainfall...whether it be light, soft, hard or heavy...it always beats out a pattern and rhythm of serenity and healing energy for our weary souls and anxious hearts.

Even though you are going through this awful period of grief and despair, God manages to speak through you in a meaningful way that allows others to hear His voice, when they may not otherwise be able to do. I always love listening to the rain when they fall; especially when I was back in my hometown - Hong Kong. Gives one a relaxed and refreshed feeling.

For me, especially if it's coming down hard, or storming, rain has the opposite affect: you see, I am StormPhobic. Terrified of bad weather - living in Tornado Alley (with no underground shelter) only intensifies my StormFear - but your poem is absolutely soothing!
