A metaphorical poem on the loneliness and sadness of the loss of a pregnancy. There is however, a sense of Hope still alive...and of a life beyond...
Tiny stick in clay No sign of life as before, But hope of a bud or green shoot To finally wash away my tears Of Pain and Anguish. To grow, to flourish, To Live, Why me? Why mine? What have I left to prove Our intimate struggle for life together? Lost Rosebud of our Passion I love You, My Love Forever, ...Wherever, Strong and Real, Always withstanding the crazy maze of my Life. Tiny stick in clay, Please bloom for me one day A misty blue, To Lift my Hopes and Dreams To a Place afar, Where You, warm and safe at last.... Lie Peacefully, in my arms.
WORDS OF LOSS, PAIN, COMFORT AND HOPE...ALL BEAUTIFULLY ENTWINED...WRITTEN WITH STRENGTH FOR ANOTHER DAY...REACHING FOR TOMORROW. GOT TO KEEP THIS. SO WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
This is another beautifully written piece although it is of a tragic loss that I know will help those who have gone through the same tragedy as I know, I have. I cannot express it as well as this and for that I thank you.

Oh, how you manage to touch my heart with your beautiful words. My wife and I lost a child between our two sons, and there will always be that longing for what might have been. But you say it all so wonderfully. Thank you for conveying to others the way that I feel as well. You did what I was unable to do so many years ago.
I'm very familiar with that sensation... so sorry. I remember after 1 hard, uphill battle that turned out good, 1 stillbirth, and 3 misscariages, I went through a horrifying experience: I was 5 months pregnant-- in for my monthly check-up, ultra-sound day, and Doc couldn't find a heart beat.
I just remember lying there in that paper tunic, thinking about that little heart while mine was being ripped apart, saying to myself over and over, "Not again, oh, please not again...", and not being able to do anything, tears pooling in my ears, wishing my husband were there, and the doctor leaving the room in search of "I think my batteries are dead" replacements... turned out it was just the batteries after all, but what an experience! and I finally got that healthy boy...
There are just some journeys we never imagine we'll have to take, and though it feels so vastly lonely, we do not travel it alone. You ever want to talk, just drop me a line. --Charlie
Oh...The questions... they just seem to go unanswered to the heart... I know these feelings well, and even with a pregnancy fulfilled, the what if's never quite die away.
What a beautiful poem you have written to express the loss of a child
...very sad poetry...yet the heart pens so beautifully...where one lost...can only be remembered...dreams...and hopes...in blue and misty ink...of the heavens.
well written Diana...
