This is so sweet. It must have been such a comfort to have a writing gift to express these feelings as though you were speaking to your husband at your side. You are so brave to share this and I feel so lucky to read it!
This is true love from the start to the end and beyond. This kind of love is so rare and I believe that this is the kind of love everyone yearns for, but seldom find. I would say with confidence that you both were blessed.
Now I read your letter, Diana. More love than this would be hard to find. And I believe this much love is the gift that is never taken away, once given. Having been at all...THAT remains. This feels like a red velvet ring case without the ring, because it is still being worn and won't ever go back in the box, no matter what other jewelry you may wear.

Heart felt and so touching. It brought tears to my eyes as I read it. It's good therapy to write and share feelings with others. Some times we wonder why things happen as they do in life . I have come to accept that it's all in Gods hands . Every one has a time to be born , a time to live and a time to die. I am deeply sorry for you loss... If you look through my poems , I wrote one called,, "I AM WITH YOU" Please read it . I think it will bring you hope.....M
Ah, but my hope is that it will go on much longer than the day that you die. The memories are beautiful and they are what help us get through the difficult times and remind us that life is to find joy; but they also hold a promise of a beautiful reunion after this life is over.
