Sitting on my window seat at Twilight, lamplight glowing, window partially open, cool air steals in..birds last call....Stars twinkling...musing...chilled out. PEACE...

 In Twilight's Glow...

in Twilight's glow

when lamplight burns

and eerie shadows fall,

when birds home bound

 cry Eve song notes

sweet silence can be found..

A quiet place inside my head

is lulled to tranquil space,

and Peace on Earth

almost in reach

Grants all Eternal Grace...

Such beautiful words as those above could only issue from one who possesses a heart of gold. Even your introductory words are poetic in sound and beauty. Your poem itself speaks volumes about you as a person...one who is kind...thoughtful...sincere...one who has the ability to find beauty in seemingly all things. I apologize for being late in offering my comments on this piece, but I don’t believe I received notification through AD. As I read “In Twilight’s Glow,” twilight time crept about my place of abode, giving its own stamp of approval to your poem. Bless you for this piece of quiet beauty, Diana. Rest assured that I read this one time and again.

One of my favorite times of the day. I'm always reminded of the lyrics from that classic song, Deep Purple. "When the deep purple falls over sleepy garden walls…"
