I love all those smells and aromas too, and Summer is my favorite season when everything burst into bloom,birds are singing again and have nests with broods of chicks.

Another favorite smell of mine is newly mown grass with a light fall of soft rain on it.

And I love the smell of newly laid tar, takes me back to my early childhood.

And yes,Love is the Master Key.

What a super tribute to Summer!

I started to write one but couldn't finish it:
I love the smell of Summer
and those panties on the beach
the nudists know what they can do without
and I'm happy as a peach (?)

Lovely poem, Diana.

Living in southern California we miss much of the look and scents of spring and summer. At this time of year, though, before our mountains turn brown again... After our rainy season our mountains, against a deep blue sky are beautiful and even now, off in the distance our tall mountains still show a cap of snow...
