In remembrance of a dear friend who died of Cancer.

Like a bird

I too

shall fly free

The joy

in my heart

will lift me up

The pain

will be no

more

I

will only know

happiness

my tears

will be of

joy

The scars

left behind

will be subtle

reminders

of my

struggles

my trials

my hurt

and days

of sadness.

I shall not

cry

for I know

someday

like a

bird

I too

shall fly.

Lavendar,

I'm sorry for your loss - a gentle release in verse - well done. :(

For every tear, sadness, pain, and hurt it all comes to make us strong. When the time comes you will have the strength to move every mountain, stumbling block and trial and you will fly high like an eagle. In His loving arms we will find comfort.

Well done, Lavendar Jazz. This is a gorgeous tribute to your friend. Cancer is a dreaded disease; I pray that a cure will be found, one day, so others will not have to suffer the sadness and loss that you, I, and so many others have experienced.

You have a kind heart and I'm sure your friend would be proud of this tribute.
