You are indeed a poet. You mention no formal training in your BIO--none is needed when the words flow so freely as they seem to from you--from your heart, and that's what counts. Nothing but good comes from North Carolina, my roots too, although I was born in South Carolina. Keep up the great work.

You may not know it but you are! I agree I wish all these poets who conform their work to fit certain standards of what "poetry" is supposed to be would just write from the heart like you and I and most of the poets on Authorsden....

While you are wishing that you were a poet, I wish that a lot of poets whom in which I have seen win large monetary prizes, wrote the type of meaningful poetry that you write ... excellant poetry Jazz!!!
