Dear Lord

Lord, I come to you on bended knees

asking for your loving grace

to fall upon the people of Japan

because we all are part of the human race.

Lord, people can choose to believe

that you are somehow punishing

the people of Libya, Japan and New Orleans

but I believe that you are a loving God

throughout the world Lord we all have sins.

Lord, I pray that Japan

can somehow stop the harm

and prevent further human suffrage

the cost is very high

so I ask how many people must die

Lord, I ask that you guide

the hearts of those who think they are in control

and can change and save lives
