No good deed goes unpunished, no punishment comes to be without good deeds

Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
- Samuel Johnson

I just love you do gooder, docile citizens
The nicely submissive, compliant drones
Always feeling guilty and on the defense
Suitably ignoring all sinister undertones
In the decrees and laws I flood you with
To put in order a world controlled by me
In which limits between truth and myth
Are impossible for blinded eyes to see
I hail my henchmen and accomplices
And their fatalities that no one misses

I adore you for devouring the poison
I feed you like it is a sweet delicacy
I love you for guzzling the noise on
The media thinking it is a symphony
The dishonest crap you ardently buy
From church and other means I use
Presented by a gorgeous girl or guy
In the papers, magazines or tv news
The warily masked garbage science
Tailored to sustain your compliance

I admire you for incessantly denying
What I trained you to fervently deny
For condemning your seers for lying
For ignoring the truth before your eye
I love you for being putty in my hands
For being so easy to sculpt and mold
For butchering eachother in all lands
And trusting the lies you’ve been told
Thank you for the reason and means
For seeing light in my occult doctrines

Once I’ve attained what I aimed to do
And there’ll be nothing left to wish for
I will no longer be needing any of you
Who took part in each and every war
Carrying out the assassinations and
Erasing tracks of those unlawful acts
Who never protested and simply went
To conceal and twist uncalled-for facts
I so appreciate your efforts and loyalty
But you’re destined to become history

It does not apply to me because I am
Past and future inside space and time
I’m the faultless truth and filthy scam
I am the pinnacle of creation sublime
The creation that dwarfs the Creator
Of every object that could ever exist
Not seeing things would escalate or
Become what original vision missed
Thank you for this grand opportunity
That permitted me to conjure reality

Continue to be good and obedient
Don’t do what your masters forbid
Beware, don't become a dissident
If things fall short, blame God for it
Because all the torment and misery
That you and others may suffer from
Was indisputably not caused by me
For I was created to be the epitome
Intended to be the do gooders friend
Unto their unglorious and bitter end

Much of the harm in the world is done by people who think they are doing good

A very strong critique of humanity's seemingly lack of conscientiousness and a powerful call to elevate and empower individual spiritual consciousness. DO GOOD CITIZENS opens doors to rooms of accountabilty where many prefer not to look but where, in fact, we all need to look and take more personal responsibility.

Rage Reason, I read this with reason,,,,,,,,,,,, I agree most of the harm of this world is by blindness. I forgive and not judge. I am aware of the tricks of media, life, and the difference of Evil and Good. You have punched a very heavy poem here the path to hell. many will take.
Just by some of the reasons you gave. Very powerful work.

I want to say chuck it all but my heart still forgives and my faith keeps me strong. After being a victim to lies I've learned the hard way that trust is a huge pair of shoes that most can't fill.

Love...
