Many days go by when I just don't know what to do.
Should I take a stroll through the museum, or should
I walk up to the zoo.
Many lions and tigers I see trapped tight in a cage. The
polar bears are locked down and caught up in a mad rage.
Captivity seem to frustrate me, so I walk up to the park.
But this pretty place ain't safe, maniacs come out after dark.
I don't have nowhere to go, but yet I'm looking for a destination,
conscience that I must walk fast - these are the days of
elimination.
So many people are unemployed and looking for an
opportunity - to mob, rob, or sale drugs and destroy their
own community. But yet, the same person that I use to see
begging for a rock, I seen standing on the same corner
campaigning for Barrack.
2009 is mine.
A very sad poem you wrote here. The times are hard and you've pictured it "caught up in a mad cage" and we are all in captivity in the financial cage. Change in environment can help, and some jobs can be found in other places, while most try it overseas where the dollar value is higher. Many Americans and Europeans have started business here in our islands and have made good fiancially. Come when you can, the trip will refresh you.
It can be difficult finding yourself in a new environment...I've moved from Connecticut after more than 40 years, than to the UK for 3 and now Italy for the last five...but I know this...WE are responsible for our own happiness. Excellent write.

find peace in your choice...
Don't move back to the west coast, as it has this tendency to shake, and have mud slides and lots of fires...the east coast has very little so far in comparison...ed
This is a very interesting write. Telling of the horrible way we treat animals and each other. Could Obama be the answer? Who knows, I don't trust politicians.

This world is getting bad, as you said they are destroying their own communities. You tell it like it is Harold. Thats why I like it.
Many blessings,
~Linda
