Charla Angeline Hultmann passed away May 13, 2008 due to complications from cancer. Charla was an African American poetess. Her poetry transcend race, and her messages in them are timeless. May your soul rest in peace Charla, and may we one day continue to write, and recite poetry in Heaven.
When I gaze upon your soul,
I see your spirits light.
It's good to know you're friend not foe,
for it shines so bright.
A gift from the Almighty, so precious, so
rich to behold.
An original, a gem, grandness, full of
infinite knowledge untold.
It is my blessing, I've been waiting for
since time of old.
A blessing that's better than any man's gold.
I praise the Alpha, Omega for allowing
me to see.
This beautiful rich light that all can
wish to be.
Love so pure, true unspoiled.
I'm thankful that I'm blessed to know
your smile.
It brings me to my knees seeing you
change your life for me.
Thank you Jesus, praise be.
Thank you ever so much for loving me.
