A face in the moon,
Or a spark in the sun,
A dream on a face,
A song is sung.

A tear in an eye,
A weight on a heart,
A piece of mind
that’s falling apart.

A voice that’s unspoken
An abrupt epiphany,
A silence, now broken,
A day dreams my token.

Tired eyes, dead eyes
Lie upon a face,
Left to stare up at a starry sky,
Leaving not a trace,
And listless to fate.

No more or less,
As this must progress,
A tear drops to the ground,
As one weeps with out a sound.

In deepest thoughts,
A feelings lost,
That drifts along the wind.

This is me,
A reflection in the water,
To see a face
So blank, and pale.

I stare back,
This is I,
And still I cry,
To finally realize,
That this is me…
