The darkest secrets of the soul,
I seek to find on a midnight stroll.
And still I walk down these streets,
I’m still aware of my defeats.
But in the deepest, darkest, depths of my soul,
There’s still something I hope to know.
That once I knew some time ago.
But still I can’t just let it go.
Carry on my child,
In the end it may be worth while,
And don’t forget to always smile,
And stick around for awhile.
Don’t be afraid my dear,
For the time draws near,
And it’s ok to shed a tear,
As I will always be hear.
When through the darkness everything seems so clear,
As the thoughts of my soul echo in my ears.
Oh sweet may,
My child, my love,
It is here I lay,
Tis my heart that’s slain.
Upon the winter winds to the graves.
My love, my sweet,
I swear in the end we shall meet,
And then I shall replete,
As thy soul, now complete.
My depths of the soul,
I’ve now discovered on my moonlit stroll,
The child of me, walks these streets,
Holding my hand,
And there I stand,
And now that child can grow,
As now I can finally let go…
just an idea my cuzin gave me, it was about finding my childhood and past lives and being able to let go.
