Everyday I think of you
And wonder what you do
A single star alone in the sky
A burning ember of so few

To find this rhyme
Which I discovered one cold dark morning
When I saw that star in solitude
Within the vastness of blue

Just one captivating moment
When your whispers are caught in the air
To chill your flesh so soft and fair
So when the trees bend with the wind
As your walk through the night
And I will try to remember all that was right

The weight of hurt upon our hearts
- but your still there
I tell my lies and all is gone

I sit and think
It passes the time
As i often wonder
What I would do with out you by my side.
