Meloncholy sometimes has a place in our hearts on deep reflection. Lucky are those whose happiness is constant. For what we strive for we may achieve and what we don't we may grieve.
Andrea Jane whose fears of the future lie in her past. Flying to LA next month to meet her mythological Horseman Ron on his own territory..who can tell if their story continues or ends. But inspiration lives on.
DANCING IN SILENCE
I'm dancing in silence Lost in this world In my own exclusive realm of dreams meditating on the meaning of the life I lead it seems...
What have I done? what have I failed to do? what have I achieved? where am I? where am I going to?
Do I fit in with society's view of cultural association
how should I lead my life? should I choose to opt out or fall in with the system Am I flawed with its indoctrination!
The pyramid clock ticks loudly the minutes, the hours, the days, the years the apprehension the excitement my darkest fears
the chasms of my mind open various doors challenge my integrity Do I follow my vision echoed in the chambers of my heart? Do what is expected of me or do I fall apart?
Take a chance on fate? wake up when its too late! Do I forgive myself for just being me... and not what somebody else's expectations should be
Will I hang the burden of guilt erase the pain feel renewed and let nature reclaim my thoughts and my mind as I drift into oblivion
And wake up in the next century For I feel I was born into a different history I belong in a world that's safe and calm where I can shine and invoke my natural charm
Not this tragic dangerous 21st century where everybody is concerned with the word "me" The few that aren't are "burnt to the stake" I feel I am dancing in silence at my own wake.

Andrea, excellent write! Emotive with a wonderful flow. Expectations unrealized can make the sick and nothing can make us more anxious than love unrequited...
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
